When switching to Trio from another dog food, it it’s a good idea to allow 7 to 10 days for the transition. Mix increasing amounts of Trio with decreasing amounts of your dog’s previous food until you are feeding only Trio, the Best for Your Best Friend!

Because Trio is complete and balanced for adult dogs, there is no need to supplement with any vitamins, minerals, oils, scraps, or any other pet food.

Protect from moisture – store in a cool, dry place. Close package tightly and store away from your dog.

Remember to always keep fresh, clean drinking water available for your dog. Have your dog checked by a veterinarian regularly.

Feeding Chart*

*Feeding chart is based on a standard 8oz. measuring cup. Feeding rates should be adjusted based on activity or environmental conditions. For growing puppies under 4 months old, feed an extra 75-100% the recommended amount.

FAQs

What life stages and breeds is Trio for?

We have formulated Trio for all life stages and breeds. Please view Trio Feeding Instructions above for more details.

Why not meat meal?

Meat meal is dehydrated, heavily processed, and generally unhealthy for your dog. Many meat meals include scraps, bones, cartilage, claws, beaks, etc. Even meat meals that start with whole meat are heavily processed, destroying proteins, vitamins, and minerals. At The Wild Bone Company, we only use real, FDA/USDA approved muscle meat – the same stuff that you eat!

Where do your proteins come from?

We source all of our proteins in the United States.

Are the fruits and vegetables real?

Yes. The green beans, carrots, apples, blueberries, and sweet potatoes you see in Trio are real, slowly dehydrated fruits and vegetables.

If my dog digests more of Trio than other foods, does that mean I should feed him/her less?

You may notice that Trio’s Feeding Chart calls for less food than many other products on the market. That’s because most products on the market are not nearly as easy for dogs to digest. So, yes, you should feed your dog less Trio than his or her previous food.
